History and InformationA scattered ability trait, remnants of a once powerful clan, that existed before the shinobi villages. Rumored to be related to the first shinobi, they have powerful traits, and even learn to create their wooden element before the age of five. Shinobi born of this specific bloodline are randomly born.. Quite literally, it is a hidden gene in most Konohagakure shinobi, however the trait itself only surfaces once every few generations, or sometimes in a small family.. but it never carries on to the children directly after. Members like this, even in contrast to their parents, have green or brown eyes, and dark brown hair, or sometimes even black. They tend to excel quickly as shinobi, and are very friendly towards their allies. Having studied, understood and built upon the concept of the cycle of life and death; she had created the means in which will sprout flowers that release a minor pollen that had been gathered from the nearby life, be it in the earth, trees or other flowers that she herself can absorb and utilize in order to sustain herself in the middle of combat. PvP Effect: When user casts a Mokuton Technique they receive 1 Pollination Counter; upon reaching 3 counters the counter resets to 0 and they heal 1d4 Health. Teaching/Learning: Learned Upon Creation Clarification: Does not stack with any healing passives.
[ MOKUTON: WITHER ] Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: E Chakra Cost: 1 (When Damage Activated) RP Description: Much like Pollination, in the cycle of life and death; the ultimate truth is everything dies. With this in mind, Taiga began to practice how to wither, kill and dissolve organics through her wood-release. Although it requires contact, if she can make a connection to a target over a period of time she can begin ‘encouraging’ cells and other organic material to shorten its life-span and cause it to age at a faster rate. Although when used on humans, animals or other sentient forms it is at a drastically lesser rate, there is a noticeable drain on the targets cells and can cause internal damage. PvP Effect: When user casts a Mokuton Technique (Successfully hitting) their foe, the target receives 1 Wither counter; Upon reaching 3 Wither Counters, enemy receives 1d4 Damage Bypassing 1 DR Special Note: This technique is added to other Mokuton Techniques as a free-action. [ MOKUTON: SMOTHERING BIND ] Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: D Chakra Cost: 3 RP Description: Clapping their hands together, the target ushers their wooden release through the earth and rise around their target. Latching on all of their physical parts, the target is rendered immobile. Once they manage to successfully latch their target in the wooden bind they begin to tighten and crush them within’. [ MOKUTON: ETERNAL WALL ] Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: D Chakra Cost: 3 RP Description: Clapping their hands together the user creates a rather large wall of trees, branches, flowers and the like. By layering the technique over and over they can slow down or halt the targets attack completely. PvP Effect: Wisdom Based Block; User gains 1d4 DR if hit. [ MOKUTON: PERSEVERANCE ] Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C Chakra Cost: 5 RP Description: Clapping their hands together, the user begins to manipulate and encourage the earth to rise and create trees instinctively between the caster and the attacker whenever they become a target. Although this isn’t a complete defense, it helps reduce the impact or overall ferocity of an incoming attack by displacement. PvP Effect: User gains 1d4 HP/CP DR for 1d4-1 (Min 1) Rounds; (When technique is active user receives ½ Healing) Special Note: DR is rolled Per Round Teaching/Learning: Learned Upon Creation
[ MOKUTON: WEED CLONE ] Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C Chakra Cost: 5 RP Description: Clapping their hands together the user executes a technique very similar to a Substitution technique. However instead of replacing their position with a pre-existing object, the user creates a minor clone to replace the user and appear next to the attacker, latching itself around the target completely; by doing this it temporarily slows them down, allowing for extra damage if chosen. PvP Effect: Wisdom Based Dodge; if defense is successful attacker suffers from a -2 to rolls for 1d4-1 (min 1) rounds & receives +1d4 Additional damage if attacked by another Mokuton or Katon Technique. Special Note: Negative to Rolls is removed if hit by a Mokuton or Katon Technique. Teaching/Learning: Learned Upon Creation
[ MOKUTON: NATURE'S JUDGEMENT ] Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: B Chakra Cost: 8 RP Description: Clapping their hands together, the user places themselves relatively close to their target. Placing both palms on the ground; six dragon heads rise from the ground and begin to emit a lulling chakra, in addition the heads create a remarkably powerful barrier preventing internal and external actions from affecting the two within’. Forcing the target’s mental processing to a near stop. Once this takes ahold of their mind, the user is capable of utilizing the nature’s connection to human-beings and the six dragon heads begin to absorb the chakra from their target to the user. PvP Effect: Single Target; Neural Stun for 2 rounds. User & Target cannot attack or be targeted during this technique. Enemy Receives 1d6 Chakra Damage Per Round (User absorbs half rounded-down (Min 1) of the 1d6 Damage ONLY, not from ANY other damage.) Special Note: Mokuton Damage Bonuses apply to CP Damage (To a Max of +4). Barrier is breakable; it has 25 hp. Usable twice times per fight. Teaching/Learning: Gate System - B Rank Concerned about this one. Considering bonuses to jutsu dmg... This could be closer to 3d8 cp drain per round.
[ MOKUTON: GUARDIANS' VIGILANCE ] Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: B Chakra Cost: 8 + 3 Per Round RP Description: Clapping their hands together and planting them to the ground. The user channels a large amount of chakra throughout the ground building up a massive bundle of trees, plants and wooden pieces that rise from the earth. The trees begin to form a massive colossal being that is often depicted with a weapon and shield of the user’s discretion. PvP Effect: Summons a Wood Guardian that follows Rank 3 Summon Rules; Melee Attacks with User’s Wisdom. Guardian only receives damage bonuses from Mokuton Bonuses. If Guardian is destroyed by a melee attack, attacker must roll defense vs user’s wisdom or get stunned for one round (Or until hit) Special Note: Can be ended early Special Note: Guardian gains no Roll Bonus apart from that gained from Rank 3 Summon Rules Teaching/Learning: Gate System - B Rank
[ MOKUTON: OVERGROWTH ] Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Chakra Cost: 13 RP Description: Clapping their hands together they slam both palms into the ground and funnel a massive amount of chakra beneath each of their targets. After a sufficient amount of chakra has built up a massive overgrowth of evergreen trees launch up, bending around each target and locking them down in-between two to three trees. After a successful build-up of pressure the user claps their hands together and forces all the trees to crash into each other, splintering, breaking and ultimately crushing each target under a remarkable amount of force. PvP Effect: Massive AOE (Max 4 - Does not target user or allies); Stuns all inflicted for 1 Round (Or Until Hit); On the users next turn, those still stuck in the stun take 3d10+1d4 HP Damage Teaching/Learning: Gate System - A Rank
[ MOKUTON: WORLD TREE ] Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: S Chakra Cost: 25 RP Description: Clapping their hands together, the user slams both palms into the ground. Creating an immeasurable amount of built up chakra they begin to create a gargantuan tree, scaling up to several hundreds of feet and fifty to a hundred feet wide, although the tree from a distance would appear to be a single entity it is actually a collaboration of hundreds of thousands of trees rising up. During its creation, the user steps into one of the trees and melds themselves into the impenetrable defense. Catching their targeted foes they are constantly barraged in a flurry of sharp trees, branches, crushing forces and of course, the user’s allies. PvP Effect: Massive AOE (Does not target user or allies); Deals 1d10 Damage for 1d4+2 Rounds; each round can stack a wither OR pollination counter (Not both). User cannot be targeted during this technique & cannot attack. Special Note: User and Targets must roll and ATK/DEF each round to deterime if they are hit or not.
