Shinobi are going to have to come up with a reason for going to Konoha more often

The DM's are now able to give out RP tokens while on player-side to those whom they see RPing... This is going to give those whom stick around Konoha a token advantage against those who (like myself) have characters who do not like to stray far from home without a legit reason. Whenever a player with another headband comes into their village the first thing that is usually is asked is "Why are you here?".

I am not going to change the way i RP Yashanny personality and his "homebody" trait. The rare times that i do go to another village out of the blue without a legit reason Yashanny tends to accidentally put people on edge or "stir's the pot" as been said. That is just how he is.

I will probably get left behind token wise and in a sense that is my own fault because i am not going to change the way i designed my character. There are other options such as creating another character for that village and transfer the tokens you earn from there (maybe lol) but this is not an option for me as put time into each character i make and i have a habit of merging my characters personalities and i have always been a one trick character player.

This is not a rant but a heads up to those out there whom have characters like myself. Maybe we will be given options or something but i am really not expecting anything.

I personally wish more people followed your example. Even 'allied' villages won't visit one another without very good reasons. We can observe this on the rather scarce number of times Konoha/Suna see one another in the canon series/manga. They are military, they will not be hanging out on eachother's villages without a -very- good reason and those chances are always very few.

However, regardless of how much we'd like to see people actually RPing in their own villages.. it won't happen. Trust me, I've brought this very thing up several times before, and was always greeted with the same answer; Everyone wants to RP with eachother. No one wants to be stuck in their own village, RPing exclusively with only the people that play in that village... so they all gather to one village and RP there instead. I'd love for it to change, but it simply won't. People come up with all sorts of reasons, legit or not, just so they have an IC reason to be there.

We have DM's with PC's in every village. A lot of them travel, and will reward people accordingly if they see RP. If you are IC RPing (Not sitting OOCly) a DM may ask you to hop to the OOC area to reward you. Just because you aren't RPing with the DM who is on PC, does not mean you won't get noticed for being RP'd.

Well, if you're sitting there talking in OOC the whole time, I wouldn't reward you personally. Perhaps an Alt for when others are in the other villages is what is needed.

Mmm, I really don't want to make another character... I put a lot of work in the design and everything to a character and when I have multiple chacters it doesn't work for me... And if everyone is told to just make a konoha min what's the point of having other village ninjas when you can only get most of your rp from one village?

I'm not telling you, you seem to be making a non complicated situation into a complicated one. We are not restricting you from travelling to other villages, you are doing that yourself. There is no restrictions, so if you wish to place these restrictions on your own character then there is nothing that I can do to compensate for that. If you're not RPing, you're not getting rewarded.

Like I said this wasn't a rant I was just informing other players as my original post stated

I am reading it as a rant, as you feel you are being left out from the RP, even though that is a self imposed negative that we are not enforcing.

Negative Sasori, You shouldn't be reading it as a rant as it is not one. Instead read it as just a piece of information for players to know that they will need to come up with reasons for there characters to leave there villages more often to go to Konoha (or wherever the RP may be at the time its just Konoha is the norm).

I never asked this to be changed or did i even try to give a solution. I know the Admin and DM team has never put restrictions on characters and as i stated "my own fault because i am not going to change the way i designed my character" but this is not a post about Yashanny and his personality or traits that i have given him. This post is just for players who play in non-popular villages and also posted a alternative such as you said about making an ALT in my original post.

So again please understand that ~I~ would not rant about something of my own doing... id at least hope you thought more of me then to think that.

I can agree to this. As the only reason ive participated in my last two events is because I was told to come with by a superior. If not for that I think I would be going onto 7 events straight missed cause they have been at konoha. Anyway thats just my input =P.

Personally, I do see a few villageless characters floating around, and as I don't play PC-side, much of my focus is planning what I do and then enacting it once I'm sure the rest of the staff deems it okay for me to do... Don't worry, lonely PCs will be getting rewards for staying IC in their loneliness if I have my way.

Additionally, I just see it as a challenge. "What is a decent reason that my character would go there?" Your character knows people, they have fellows who show up in all these places, they have problems and challenges and stories that give them reason to so much as venture out. Find those reasons, use them, develop them.
